Holiday Stationstore not recycling

I stopped at Holiday Stationstore at 300 11th Ave S in Hopkins, MN today (22 Aug 08) to grab a sandwich. Got a sandwhich and a can of pop and then I ate there. When I asked an employee if they had a place to recycle my can they indicated they did not.

Northwest Airlines recycling

On a recent trip I noticed that Northwest Airlines flight attendants were going down the aisle collecting trash with a 3 pouch sack. Actually sorting by waste stream such as cans, plastic, etc.

Kudos for the effort.

Holiday Inn - Johnstown, PA

When recently staying at the Holiday Inn in downtown Johnstown, PA i was trying to find a place to recycle my papers, plastic bottles, etc. When I inquired at the front desk they indicated they did not recycle.

Probably not a place for me to stay again and others may choose to avoid as well for a Greener hotel.
